A complete roadway network, railroads, the underground, the pedestrian areas and the cycling circuits are already here.
Alta de Lisboa benefits from an extensive and integrated roadway network, with three large city entrances: the connection to the Segunda Circular through a large roundabout with access to the third largest avenue of the city, the Eixo Central and Avenida Santos e Castro, the motorway running along the east of the area; the west entrance with connection to the Eixo Norte-Sul (North-South Axis), which connects the southern motorway to the northern motorway; the northern entrance which connects the Eixo Norte-Sul (North-South Axis), the Avenida Santos e Castro and the Eixo Central (Central Axis), creating a roadway network that permits the connection of the area through different entrances, while at the same time avoiding undesirable traffic jams.
The public transportation network was created to follow the Eixo Central (Central Axis), the roadway which will prolong the Alta de Lisboa area to the Tejo River. Besides regular bus lines and other public transports, Alta de Lisboa currently has service from three Underground stations of the Yellow Line (Quinta das Conchas, Lumiar and Ameixoeira). There are cycling circuits and large pedestrian areas to enhance the best the city has to offer, without the disadvantages of pollution.
