Last Tuesday, July 3rd, in the Almeida Garrett Library Auditorium in the city of Oporto, SGAL – Sociedade Gestora da Alta de Lisboa was awarded the INH/IHRU Award from the Instituto de Habitação e Reabilitação Urbana (Housing and Urban Restoration Institute).
The award, presented by Professor João Ferrão, Secretary of State Territorial Planning and Cities, was won from among 12 privately submitted applications.

The project of 47 homes in Alta de Lisboa highlights the strong relationship between the building and the land’s morphology, as well as the way it connects with adjacent housing.
The design of the extremely pleasant exterior spaces identifies with the spirit of the location and the manners of living in peripheral areas, contributing as well to adding value to the urban territory from an environmental perspective.
